About

Anthony Phillips was always destined to nearly become one of Britain’s foremost literary giants and distinguished writers. Born completely illiterate in Gloucestershire, England, in 1979, Anthony started writing his first book – Tieless in Tokyo – when he was just thirty-two years of age, completing it a mere three years later where it was received to a near-hysterical critical silence.

Since it was first published in 2015, Tieless in Tokyo has gone on to sell almost a few copies, leaving the world in no doubt as to the influence his debut book didn’t have in the shaping of Britain’s cultural and literary society.

Due to all of the awards, accolades and honours that his work hasn’t generated, Anthony continued to write daft travelogues and pen silly blog pieces, until his popularity grew so much that he ended up owning the entire internet* – apart from the bad parts, which he donated to charity for recycling.
